ਭੂਮਿਕਾ — ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਯੁੱਗ ਦੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਚਾਲ ਦੌੜਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਛੇਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਲ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਣ ਦੀ ਸੱਧਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਕਾਢਾਂ ਕੱਢੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਲੈ ਸਕੇ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਕਾਹਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ। ਅੰਤ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਸੱਧਰ ਰੋਬੋਟਸ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ।

ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ- ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਛੜੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਯੰਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਘੱਟ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ ਕਿ ਵਾਰ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, “ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਜਿਸ ਤੇਜ ਚਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਗਤੀ (ਚਾਲ) ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ। ”

ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਸਭ ਥਾਂ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦਾ ਰੌਲਾ-ਰੱਪਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।ਟੀ. ਵੀ. ਰੇਡਿਓ, ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣ ਦਾ ਸਾਧਨ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।ਦੇਸ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਛੋਟੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।ਬੈਂਕਾਂ, ਰੇਲਵੇ, ਹਵਾਈ ਆਰਖਸ਼ਣਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦੀ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਵ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ — ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਦਿਮਾਗੀ- ਯੰਤਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੰਕ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਸੂਖਮ ਤੋਂ ਸੂਖਮ ਅਤੇ ਔਖੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਔਖੀਆਂ ਗੁੰਝਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਗ਼ਲਤੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਤੋਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੈ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਸ ਯੰਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਂ ਯੰਤਰ ਸੰਚਾਲਣ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਕਮੀ ਹੋਵੇ। ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਆਇਤਾਕਾਰ ‘ ਗਣਕ ਪਟਲ ‘ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਭਗ ਚਾਰ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੋਇਆ। ਅਬਾਕਸ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸੰਨ 1642 ਈ. ਵਿਚ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੀ ਰੂਪ-ਰੇਖਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ।ਸੰਨ 1671 ਈ. ਵਿਚ ਜਰਮਨ ਗਣਿਤ ਗੋਰਟਫਾਈਡ ਨੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। 19ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਵਿਚ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਗਣਤਿਗ ਚਾਰਲਸ ਬੈਬੇਗ ਨੇ ਸੰਨ 1832 ਈ. ਵਿਚ ਗਣਿਤ-ਗਣਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਖਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਹ ਯੰਤਰ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਸਲ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਜਟਿਲ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਦਾ ਸਿਹਰਾ ਅਮੇਰਿਕਾ ਦੇ ਹਾਵਰਡ ਏਕਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਨਿੱਤ-ਨਿੱਤ ਨਵੇਂ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

• ਅੰਕ ਗਣਿਤ ਯੂਨਿਟ
• ਆਊਟ ਪੁਟ ਡਿਵਾਈਸ ਜਾਂ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਯੰਤਰ।

ਭਾਰਤ ਵਰਗੇ ਘਰ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਸਾਰ ਲਏ ਹਨ। ਹੁਣ ਸਕੂਲ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਢਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਰਤੀਮਾਨ ਰੂਪ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ।

ਹੁਣ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੋਵੇ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਬਿਜਨਸਮੈਨ ਹੈ, ਦਫ਼ਤਰ, ਸਕੂਲ, ਕਾਲਜ, ਹਸਪਤਾਲ, ਫੈਕਟਰੀ, ਬੈਂਕ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਥਾਂ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ । ਹੋਰ ਤਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਹੁਣ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਓਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ । ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਇੰਦਰੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਸ ਕੰਪਿਉਟਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਯੰਤਰਣ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ।

Cell phones are such miraculous phenomena of the world now, the smart-phone has revolutionized things in the world. There was this time when people wrote letters or sent a message through telegram. Mobile phones have enabled one to communicate with someone from the farthest corner of the world as well. Motorola’s Martin Cooper invented the first cell phone. The invention of the cell phone though wasn’t a sudden development, it was a multi-generational effort. Though talking of phones in India, it is only in recent years that mobile phones have become such an accessible entity. Even the people from lower economic classes of society own mobile phones. There are two reasons, mobile phones have become an essential thing for our lives, it has become a necessary commodity and unlike the previous years of the timeline they come in all ranges, even a poor can afford it. Now, seeing smart-phones in everyone’s possession is such a general sight. India has indeed grown in this aspect. 

  Along with the advancement of mobile phones, the internet, social media platforms our generation seems to be distracted by all kinds of unnecessary things they are influenced by. 

There is an essential need for being judicious about using a phone. It could be a boon as well as a curse, it depends on how you make use of it. 

Mobile phones promise us of connectivity with the people who are far off, but mobile phones have made the people close to us metaphorically distant. People are too busy on their phones that they are forgetting to connect with the people who in reality surround them. One needs to be wise while using this miraculous tool.

Sir, I need your help. Please guide me. I’ve cleared the tier 1 of IB security assistant (exec.) Exam and the tier 2 will be conducted on 29/9/19. In tier 2 a passage (500 words) will be given for translation ( English to Hindi or vice-versa ). I want to prepare myself but don’t have the resources. I’ve searched through the internet but didn’t get the sample paper. 2 weeks are left and I haven’t got any idea for the level of examination. Please look into this matter and advise me thoroughly. The invention of Braille was a major turning point in the history of disability. The writing system of raised dots used by visually impaired people was developed by Louis Braille in nineteenth-century France. In a society that did not value disabled people in general, blindness was particularly stigmatized, and lack of access to reading and writing was a significant barrier to social participation. The idea of tactile reading was not entirely new, but existing methods based on sighted systems were difficult to learn and use. As the first writing system designed for blind people’s needs, Braille was a groundbreaking new accessibility tool. It not only provided practical benefits, but also helped change the cultural status of blindness. This essay begins by discussing the situation of blind people in nineteenth-century Europe. It then describes the invention of Braille and the gradual process of its acceptance within blind education. Subsequently, it explores the wide-ranging effects of this invention on blind people’s social and cultural lives.

Lack of access to reading and writing put blind people at a serious disadvantage in nineteenth-century society. Text was one of the primary methods through which people engaged with culture, communicated with others, and accessed information; without a well-developed reading system that did not rely on sight, blind people were excluded from social participation (Weygand, 2009). While disabled people in general suffered from discrimination, blindness was widely viewed as the worst disability, and it was commonly believed that blind people were incapable of pursuing a profession or improving themselves through culture (Weygand, 2009). This demonstrates the importance of reading and writing to social status at the time: without access to text, it was considered impossible to fully participate in society. Blind people were excluded from the sighted world, but also entirely dependent on sighted people for information and education.

In France, debates about how to deal with disability led to the adoption of different strategies over time. While people with temporary difficulties were able to access public welfare, the most common response to people with long-term disabilities, such as hearing or vision loss, was to group them together in institutions (Tombs, 1996). At first, a joint institute for the blind and deaf was created, and although the partnership was motivated more by financial considerations than by the well-being of the residents, the institute aimed to help people develop skills valuable to society (Weygand, 2009). Eventually blind institutions were separated from deaf institutions, and the focus shifted towards education of the blind, as was the case for the Royal Institute for Blind Youth, which Louis Braille attended (Jimenez et al, 2009). The growing acknowledgement of the uniqueness of different disabilities led to more targeted education strategies, fostering an environment in which the benefits of a specifically blind education could be more widely recognized.

Several different systems of tactile reading can be seen as forerunners to the method Louis Braille developed, but these systems were all developed based on the sighted system. The Royal Institute for Blind Youth in Paris taught the students to read embossed roman letters, a method created by the school’s founder, Valentin Hauy (Jimenez et al., 2009). Reading this way proved to be a rather arduous task, as the letters were difficult to distinguish by touch. The embossed letter method was based on the reading system of sighted people, with minimal adaptation for those with vision loss. As a result, this method did not gain significant success among blind students.

Louis Braille was bound to be influenced by his school’s founder, but the most influential pre-Braille tactile reading system was Charles Barbier’s night writing. A soldier in Napoleon’s army, Barbier developed a system in 1819 that used 12 dots with a five line musical staff (Kersten, 1997). His intention was to develop a system that would allow the military to communicate at night without the need for light (Herron, 2009). The code developed by Barbier was phonetic (Jimenez et al., 2009); in other words, the code was designed for sighted people and was based on the sounds of words, not on an actual alphabet. Barbier discovered that variants of raised dots within a square were the easiest method of reading by touch (Jimenez et al., 2009). This system proved effective for the transmission of short messages between military personnel, but the symbols were too large for the fingertip, greatly reducing the speed at which a message could be read (Herron, 2009). For this reason, it was unsuitable for daily use and was not widely adopted in the blind community.

Nevertheless, Barbier’s military dot system was more efficient than Hauy’s embossed letters, and it provided the framework within which Louis Braille developed his method. Barbier’s system, with its dashes and dots, could form over 4000 combinations (Jimenez et al., 2009). Compared to the 26 letters of the Latin alphabet, this was an absurdly high number. Braille kept the raised dot form, but developed a more manageable system that would reflect the sighted alphabet. He replaced Barbier’s dashes and dots with just six dots in a rectangular configuration (Jimenez et al., 2009). The result was that the blind population in France had a tactile reading system using dots (like Barbier’s) that was based on the structure of the sighted alphabet (like Hauy’s); crucially, this system was the first developed specifically for the purposes of the blind.

While the Braille system gained immediate popularity with the blind students at the Institute in Paris, it had to gain acceptance among the sighted before its adoption throughout France. This support was necessary because sighted teachers and leaders had ultimate control over the propagation of Braille resources. Many of the teachers at the Royal Institute for Blind Youth resisted learning Braille’s system because they found the tactile method of reading difficult to learn (Bullock & Galst, 2009). This resistance was symptomatic of the prevalent attitude that the blind population had to adapt to the sighted world rather than develop their own tools and methods. Over time, however, with the increasing impetus to make social contribution possible for all, teachers began to appreciate the usefulness of Braille’s system (Bullock & Galst, 2009), realizing that access to reading could help improve the productivity and integration of people with vision loss. It took approximately 30 years, but the French government eventually approved the Braille system, and it was established throughout the country (Bullock & Galst, 2009).

Although Blind people remained marginalized throughout the nineteenth century, the Braille system granted them growing opportunities for social participation. Most obviously, Braille allowed people with vision loss to read the same alphabet used by sighted people (Bullock & Galst, 2009), allowing them to participate in certain cultural experiences previously unavailable to them. Written works, such as books and poetry, had previously been inaccessible to the blind population without the aid of a reader, limiting their autonomy. As books began to be distributed in Braille, this barrier was reduced, enabling people with vision loss to access information autonomously. The closing of the gap between the abilities of blind and the sighted contributed to a gradual shift in blind people’s status, lessening the cultural perception of the blind as essentially different and facilitating greater social integration.

The Braille system also had important cultural effects beyond the sphere of written culture. Its invention later led to the development of a music notation system for the blind, although Louis Braille did not develop this system himself (Jimenez, et al., 2009). This development helped remove a cultural obstacle that had been introduced by the popularization of written musical notation in the early 1500s. While music had previously been an arena in which the blind could participate on equal footing, the transition from memory-based performance to notation-based performance meant that blind musicians were no longer able to compete with sighted musicians (Kersten, 1997). As a result, a tactile musical notation system became necessary for professional equality between blind and sighted musicians (Kersten, 1997).

Braille paved the way for dramatic cultural changes in the way blind people were treated and the opportunities available to them. Louis Braille’s innovation was to reimagine existing reading systems from a blind perspective, and the success of this invention required sighted teachers to adapt to their students’ reality instead of the other way around. In this sense, Braille helped drive broader social changes in the status of blindness. New accessibility tools provide practical advantages to those who need them, but they can also change the perspectives and attitudes of those who do not.

The structure of an essay is divided into an introduction that presents your topic and thesis statement , a body containing your in-depth analysis and arguments, and a conclusion wrapping up your ideas.

The structure of the body is flexible, but you should always spend some time thinking about how you can organize your essay to best serve your ideas.

Your essay introduction should include three main things, in this order:

• An opening hook to catch the reader’s attention.
• Relevant background information that the reader needs to know.
• A thesis statement that presents your main point or argument.

The length of each part depends on the length and complexity of your essay .

A thesis statement is a sentence that sums up the central point of your paper or essay . Everything else you write should relate to this key idea.

A topic sentence is a sentence that expresses the main point of a paragraph . Everything else in the paragraph should relate to the topic sentence.

At college level, you must properly cite your sources in all essays , research papers , and other academic texts (except exams and in-class exercises).

Add a citation whenever you quote , paraphrase , or summarize information or ideas from a source. You should also give full source details in a bibliography or reference list at the end of your text.

The exact format of your citations depends on which citation style you are instructed to use. The most common styles are APA , MLA , and Chicago .

1. समय की बर्बादी- हम कॉम्पुटर के आदि बन जाते हैं और बिना किसी काम के भी हर समय इसके आगे बैठे रहते हैं और अपना समय बर्बाद करते हैं। 2. स्वास्थय पर नकारात्मक प्रभाव- कॉम्पुटर के ज्यादा प्रयोग से स्वास्थय पर नकारात्मक प्रभाव पड़ता है। सारा दिन कम्पयुटर चलाने से दृष्टि कमजोर होती है और कमर में भी दर्द होता है। 3. रक्तसंचार में कमी- सारा दिन एक ही स्थित् में बैठे रहने से रक्त का संचार सही से नहीं हो पाता है। 4. रिश्तेदारों से दुरियाँ- लोग कॉम्पुटर के माध्यम से रिश्तेदारों से जुड़े रहते है और वह इसी कारण उनसे मिलने भी नहीं जाते हैं।

निष्कर्ष- कॉम्पुटर हमारे लिए बहुत ही लाभदायक है अगर उसे सही तरीके से प्रयोग किया जाए तो लेकिन यदि उसी कॉम्पुटर को हम हद से ज्यादा प्रयोग करेंगे तो उसके नकारात्मक प्रभाव ही पड़ेंगे। हम सबको इस मशीन का आदि नहीं होना चाहिए और जरूरत के अनुसार ही इसका प्रयोग करना चाहिए।

Behind the success of this mission, lies the hardwork and dedication of the scientists of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). 

ISRO was initially the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR), established in 1962. ISRO, formed on August 15, 1969, superseded INCOSPAR. Chandrayaan-3 came after the failure of Chandrayaan-2. Chandrayaan-2 was launched on July 22, 2019. In September, ISRO lost contact with the Vikram lander as it crashed. This happened due to the high velocity of the lander. 

Chandrayaan-3 displayed India’s commitment to space exploration and to unravel the mysteries of the Moon. Chandrayaan-3 consisted of an indigenous Lander module (LM), Propulsion module (PM) and a Rover with the purpose of developing and demonstrating new technologies needed for Inter planetary missions. The rover's purpose was to carry out in-situ chemical analysis of the lunar surface.

Chandrayaan 3 was launched at 2:35 pm on July 14, 2023 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. The rover made a successful soft landing on the Moon at 6:30 pm on August 24, 2023. It was put to sleep in September. 

The objectives of the mission were to demonstrate safe and soft landing on the lunar surface, to demonstrate rover roving on the Moon and to conduct in-situ scientific experiments.

Chandrayaan-3 focused on- to carry out the measurements of thermal properties of lunar surface near polar region, to derive the chemical composition and infer mineralogical composition, to determine the elemental composition of lunar soil and rocks etc. 

 It will also help in the future discoveries of smaller planets in reflected light which will allow us to probe into a variety of Exo-planets which would qualify for the presence of life. Apart from this, ISRO has launched many missions such as the Aditya-L1 mission (September 2, 2023). It is the first space based Indian mission to study the Sun. 

Few of the prominent future missions of ISRO are- Gaganyaan-1 (demonstration of human spaceflight capability by launching crew of 3 members to an orbit of 400 km for a 3 days mission and bring them back safely), NISAR (being developed by ISRO with NASA, first dual frequency radar imaging mission), Shukrayaan (mission to study Venus), Mangalyaan-2 (India’s second mission to Mars).
