  1. An Education movie review & film summary (2009)

Powered by JustWatch. "An Education" tells the story of a 16-year-old girl who is the target of a sophisticated seduction by a 35-year-old man. This happens in 1961, when 16-year-old girls were a great deal less knowing than they are now. Yet the movie isn't shabby or painful, but romantic and wonderfully entertaining.

  6. Review: An Education

by Ryan Stewart. October 7, 2009. The emotional maturity of a sheltered teen in post-war austerity Britain is thoroughly tested in An Education, Lone Scherfig's vivacious, boldly elemental adaptation of journalist Lynn Barber's unsparing memoir of her formative years. In the post-Absolute Beginners society of 1961 London, where suited ...

  12. An Education Movie Review

Our review: Parents say ( 2 ): Kids say ( 10 ): There are quibbles aplenty with AN EDUCATION -- Sarsgaard's wreck of an accent, to start, and a third act that attempts to wrap up too quickly to boot. But neither detracts from the period drama's considerable heft. This is a seriously good film.

  13. Education Guardian or Legal Guardian

A legal guardian is something very different to an education guardian. You will often see visa, school acceptance and medical forms asking for the signature of the Parent/Legal Guardian. This is because a legal guardian has the authority and duty to care for a child in the event that their parents are unable to do so.

  18. ‎An Education (2009) directed by Lone Scherfig

Review by His Royal Majesty James of House Cameron ★★★½ 6. I thought I'd never say this, but here goes: An Education is feminism done right. I had given up trying to find it, but the story of 16-year old british girl in 1960s London is a perfect example of what a female tour de force should be.
