• It has been formed in Liverpool in 1959.
• The group has brought in the significant contribution to development of a rock music, having caused its transition to sphere of art.
• James Paul McCartney (18 June, 1942 a vocal, a bass-guitar, keyboard)
• John Winston Lennon (9 October, 1940 8 December, 1980 a vocal, a guitar, a harmonic, keyboard)
• George Harrison (25 February, 1943 29 November, 2001 a vocal, a guitar, keyboard)
• Ringo Starr (Richard Starkey) (7 July, 1940 in the group from 1962 a vocal, drumms, keyboard).
• In the spring 1956 15-years old John Lennon has formed group The Quarrymen which executed songs in style country-and-western and rock-and-roll. It was amateur collective anybody from its participants as follows did not own any instrument.
• John Lennon sang in church chorus, has studied some melodies on a lip accordion and with the help of mother has mastered about ten elementary melodies. It appeared enough to become the leader and the soloist of ensemble.
• Lennon's group acted all better and better and at once has very much liked McCartney when he on July, 6, 1957 has heard it.

• However this period wasnt long, and already in 1959 group began to work with new participant - Stuart Satkliff.
• Satkliff was a student on the Liverpool art college. He has just received for one of pictures the premium in 65 pounds sterling and under John's insisting has bought on this money a bass-guitar though to play on it is not skilful.
• So in ensemble the bass-guitarist has appeared.
• In November the group has accepted the new name Long John and Silver Beatles, soon reduced up to The Silver Beatles. The word "beatles" combines 2 values - "beat" (impact, bats) and "beetles" (bugs).
• The majority of biographers attribute authorship of the name to John Lennon. It is quite possible, that he has really thought up it, is especial if to take into account his poetic abilities and skill to build the whole stories and poems on a word-play.
• In the summer of 1960 The Beatles have invited to performances to Hamburg and they again had to look for the drummer. They have stopped the choice on Pete Best.
• In 1960 The Beatles have offered performances to Hamburg. They had to play for eight hours on one day. In the same place they also have got acquainted with the future drummer - Ringo.
• In Hamburg Stuart Satkliff married, has left group and has soon died of a haemorrhage in a brain (1962).
• The Beatles again have visited Hamburg and again were popular. But they required the good manager who could show their public. Their manager became the owner of musical shop in Liverpool Bryan Epstein.
• On June,6 lisening at sound producer George Martin has taken place. The Beatles have played some the songs Love me do, P.S. I love you, Ask me why and others.
• But soon them have again invited to listening, and they had to refuse from Pete and to take to themselves Ringo Starr.
• Love me do was first true single of The Beatles. However the world of it did not notice.
• The following single Please, please me has come out on top of popularity.
• Third single From Me T? You has taken the first place in charts.
• At the end of October, 1963 single She Loves You becomes the most duplicated plate in a history of the Great Britain.
• In April 1964 composition Can't Buy Me Love has simultaneously headed charts of the Great Britain and the USA in same month The Beatles have occupied all top five lines in charts of magazine Billboard.
• In August 1964 has appeared the first film participation The Beatles A Hard Day's Night, director Richard Lester. The songs used in film have formed the same album.
• The second film with their participation Help! was removed in the spring 1965.
• In June 1965 for the oustanding contribution to prosperity of the Great Britain the English queen has awarded musicians with an award of British Empire.
• On August, 29, 1966 in San-Francisco The Beatles gave last concert.
• John was born on October, 9, 1940.
• His father was missing. John has remained to live with his aunt.
• It is impossible to tell, that John was the provisional pupil. Every day director of Kvorri-bank high school advised John to enter to art college.
• John spoke about that time I proved to all the correctness and insisted on independence. Certainly, I would be afflicted, if I have not go in college, but nevertheless I eventually have thrown it. And I think, that my childhood was happy.
• Died on December, 8, 1980.
• James Paul McCartney was born on June, 18, 1942.
• Paul has successfully finished an elementary school and has entered in the Liverpool institute - the most known high school of city.
• In the childhood Paul did not show to music of any interest.
• Later Pauls uncle has presented him a pipe on which he has managed to pick up some melodies. Then Paul as well as many boys, has taken a great interest in a guitar. First time at him turned out nothing. The reason that he the lefthander (Paul has changed places of a string).
• He was born on 25 February, 1943
• To arrange George in an elementary school costed the big works at that time schools have been overflown. Nevertheless George have taken in the same school where John studied.
• In the Liverpool institute he has entered in 1954.
• John recollected we have suggested George to enter group. Because he knew more chords, than we.
• Died on November, 29, 2001.

• He was the grown-up from all beatles. Ringo was born on 7 July, 1940.
• In 13 years he was serious ill and was in hospital almost 2 years a pneumonia with complication. This episode also has delivered to him further many troubles.

The Beatles • The Beatles consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison. • The Beatles lead the British Invasion in 1964. • The Beatles are easily the best-selling band in history. (But they are extremely terrible. In fact, the only good thing to ever come out of The Beatles was John Lennon. But he was shot in 1980. So does it really matter? No.) • Their best albums consist of Revolver, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Beatles, and Abbey Road. (All of which, Mr. Epperson has mentioned as “Breath Taking”, and “Genius”, which makes these albums even gayer.)

John Lennon (1940-1980) • John Lennon was born and raised in Liverpool. • He was married to his well known wife, Yoko Ono in 1969. • John Lennon was tragically murdered 3 weeks after his final album, “Double Fantasy”, was released.

Paul McCartney • Paul McCartney was born in Liverpool in 1944. • McCartney played bass and sang for The Beatles. • Paul McCartney is one of the two remaining Beatles, along with Ringo Starr. (Why couldn’t Paul or Ringo have been shot? Why must all the best musicians ever be killed? JacoPastorius, Felix Pappalardi, Marvin Gaye, “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott, Cliff Burton, and Biggie Smalls)

Ringo Starr • He was born in Europe. • He played the drums for the Beatles. (If you’d call the most simple drum beats in history to be drumming, then I guess he was a drummer. • He wasn’t too important.

George Harrison • George Harrison was the lead guitarist for The Beatles. • He died from Cancer in 2001 • George, Paul and John were the only three to write anything. (Proving once again Ringo Starr did nothing.)
