Why you should submit to writing contests

Submitting to poetry competitions and free writing contests in 2024 is absolutely worth your while as an aspiring author: just as your qualifications matter when you apply for a new job, a writing portfolio that boasts published works and award-winning pieces is a great way to give your writing career a boost. And not to mention the bonus of cash prizes!

That being said, we understand that taking part in writing contests can be tough for emerging writers. First, there’s the same affliction all writers face: lack of time or inspiration. Entering writing contests is a time commitment, and many people decide to forego this endeavor in order to work on their larger projects instead — like a full-length book. Second, for many writers, the chance of rejection is enough to steer them clear of writing contests. 

But we’re here to tell you that two of the great benefits of entering writing contests happen to be the same as those two reasons to avoid them.

When it comes to the time commitment: yes, you will need to expend time and effort in order to submit a quality piece of writing to competitions. That being said, having a hard deadline to meet is a great motivator for developing a solid writing routine.

Think of entering contests as a training session to become a writer who will need to meet deadlines in order to have a successful career. If there’s a contest you have your eye on, and the deadline is in one month, sit down and realistically plan how many words you’ll need to write per day in order to meet that due date — and don’t forget to also factor in the time you’ll need to edit your story!

In regards to the fear of rejection, the truth is that any writer aspiring to become a published author needs to develop relatively thick skin. If one of your goals is to have a book traditionally published, you will absolutely need to learn how to deal with rejection, as traditional book deals are notoriously hard to score. If you’re an indie author, you will need to adopt the hardy determination required to slowly build up a readership.

The good news is that there’s a fairly simple trick for learning to deal with rejection: use it as a chance to explore how you might be able to improve your writing.

In an ideal world, each rejection from a publisher or contest would come with a detailed letter, offering construction feedback and pointing out specific tips for improvement. And while this is sometimes the case, it’s the exception and not the rule.

Still, you can use the writing contests you don’t win as a chance to provide yourself with this feedback. Take a look at the winning and shortlisted stories and highlight their strong suits: do they have fully realized characters, a knack for showing instead of telling, a well-developed but subtly conveyed theme, a particularly satisfying denouement?

The idea isn’t to replicate what makes those stories tick in your own writing. But most examples of excellent writing share a number of basic craft principles. Try and see if there are ways for you to translate those stories’ strong points into your own unique writing.

Finally, there are the more obvious benefits of entering writing contests: prize and publication. Not to mention the potential to build up your readership, connect with editors, and gain exposure.

After you submit to a writing competition in 2024

It’s exciting to send a piece of writing off to a contest. However, once the initial excitement wears off, you may be left waiting for a while. Some writing contests will contact all entrants after the judging period — whether or not they’ve won. Other writing competitions will only contact the winners. 

Here are a few things to keep in mind after you submit:

Many writing competitions don’t have time to respond to each entrant with feedback on their story. However, it never hurts to ask! Feel free to politely reach out requesting feedback — but wait until after the selection period is over.

If you’ve submitted the same work to more than one writing competition or literary magazine, remember to withdraw your submission if it ends up winning elsewhere.

After you send a submission, don’t follow it up with a rewritten or revised version. Instead, ensure that your first version is thoroughly proofread and edited. If not, wait until the next edition of the contest or submit the revised version to other writing contests.

निबंध के चार अंग निश्चित किए गए-

(1) शीर्षक – शीर्षक आकर्षक होना चाहिए, ताकि लोगों में निबंध पढ़ने की उत्सुकता पैदा हो जाए। परन्तु यदि आप परीक्षा में बैठे हैं, तो आपको शीर्षक पहले से ही दिया गया होगा।

इस निबंध में किसी देखी या सुनी हुई बात का वर्णन नहीं होता; इसमें केवल कल्पना और चिंतनशक्ति से काम लिया जाता है। विचारात्मक निबंध उक्त दोनों प्रकारों से अधिक श्रमसाध्य होता है। अतएव, इसके लिए विशेष रूप से अभ्यास की आवश्यकता होती है।

विचारात्मक निबंध लिखने के लिए दिए गए विषय को निम्नलखित विभागों में बाँटना चाहिए-

निबन्ध लिखते समय निम्नलिखित बातों पर ध्यान देना चाहिए- (1) निबन्ध लिखने से पूर्व सम्बन्धित विषय का पर्याप्त ज्ञान होना चाहिए। (2) क्रमबद्ध रूप से विचारों को लिखा जाये। (3) निबन्ध की भाषा रोचक एवं सरल होनी चाहिए। (4) निबन्ध के वाक्य छोटे-छोटे तथा प्रभावशाली होने चाहिए। (5) निबन्ध संक्षिप्त होना चाहिए। अनावश्यक बातें नहीं लिखनी चाहिए। (6) व्याकरण के नियमों और विरामादि चिह्नों का उचित प्रयोग होना चाहिए। (7) विषय के अनुसार निबन्ध में मुहावरों का भी प्रयोग करना चाहिए। मुहावरों के प्रयोग से निबन्ध सशक्त बनता है। (8) निबंध के विषय पर अतिरिक्त जानकारी प्राप्त करें। (9) आरंभ, मध्य अथवा अंत में किसी उक्ति अथवा विषय से संबंधित कविता की पंक्तियों का उल्लेख करें। (10) निबंध की शब्द-सीमा का ध्यान रखें और व्यर्थ की बातें न लिखें अर्थात विषय से न हटें। (11) विषय से संबंधित सभी पहलुओं पर अपने विचार प्रकट करें। (12) सभी अनुच्छेद एक दूसरे से जुड़े हों। (13) वर्तनी व भाषा की शुद्धता, लेख की स्वच्छ्ता एवं विराम-चिह्नों पर ध्यान दें।

निबंध लिखने का तरीका समझने से पहले यह जानना आवश्यक है कि “निबंध क्या है?” और उसके तत्त्व कौन से हैं व सफल निबन्ध की कसौटी क्या है? तत्पश्चात ही उच्च गुणवत्ता का निबन्ध लेखन किया जा सकता है।

निबंध क्या है?

हिंदी के प्रमुख साहित्यकार आचार्य रामचंद्र शुक्ल ने निबन्ध को परिभाषित करते हुए कहा है-

निबन्ध लेखक अपने मन की प्रवृत्ति के अनुसार स्वच्छंद गति से इधर-उधर फूटी हुई सूत्र शाखाओं पर विचरता चलता है।

उपरोक्त परिभाषा से दो तथ्य तो स्पष्ट हो जाते हैं कि निबन्ध लेखक के मन की प्रवृत्ति के अनुरूप  ही होना चाहिए और निबन्ध का लेखन स्वच्छन्द गति पर आधारित हो अर्थात निबन्ध लेखक के व्यक्तित्त्व को, उसके मानसिक चिन्तन को शत-प्रतिशत उजागर करता हो। यानी निबंध ऐसा लिखना चाहिए कि लेखक का चिंतन, वैचारिक स्तर, विषय पर उसकी स्वयं की विचारधारा स्पष्ट हो जानी चाहिए।

यानि हम कह सकते हैं कि-

निबंध, लेखक के व्यक्तित्व को प्रकाशित करने वाली ललित गद्य-रचना है।

इसके अतिरिक्त लेखक को नदी की धारा सम स्वच्छन्दता से बहना चाहिए, किसी अन्य के मत से प्रभावित हुए बिना। लेखक का व्यक्तिगत परिचय या स्वार्थ विषय-वस्तु को प्रभावित न करे- यह अत्यन्त आवश्यक है। ज़रूरी नहीं कि आप जो भी लिखें वो सभी को स्वीकार्य हो, ज़रूरी ये है कि आप निष्पक्ष हो कर लिखें क्योंकि निष्पक्षता ही किसी निबंध की प्रथम और अंतिम कसौटी है।

कुछ अन्य बातों की ओर भी निबन्ध लेखक का ध्यान हो, जैसे-

• पाठक को निबन्ध पढ़ते हुए सहभागिता का अनुभव हो
• लेखक के विचार पाठक को सरलता से समझ आने चाहियें
• जहाँ तक संभव हो लेखक के अनुभव पाठक को आप-बीते अनुभव हों

वस्तुतः किसी भी निबन्ध की सफलता इसी तथ्य पर निर्भर करती है कि पाठक उससे कितनी आत्मीयता अनुभव करते हैं।

निबन्ध कैसे लिखें?

मूलतः हमारा विषय यह था कि “ निबन्ध कैसे लिखें “। एक आप-बीती बताती हूँ -शिक्षण जगत में प्रवेश किया ही था कि एक निराश कर देने वाला अनुभव हुआ। परीक्षा के पश्चात एक विद्यार्थी से परीक्षा संबंधित वार्तालाप करते हुए कहा,” निबन्ध छोड़ आया क्योंकि याद किया हुआ नहीं आया।” मैं अचंभित होते हुए उससे पूछ बैठी,” निबन्ध को भी याद करना होता है क्या?” उसने कोई उत्तर नही दिया।

काफी विचार-मंथन के पश्चात मुझे सम्पूर्ण शिक्षण-प्रक्रिया में यह खामी नज़र आयी कि हम शायद यह समझ ही नहीं पाए थे कि पाठ्यक्रम में निबन्ध-लेखन क्यों जोड़ा गया है। कक्षा में छात्रों का वाद-विवाद होने पर प्रायः यह कहा करती थी कि अगर अपने विचारों को स्पष्ट नहीं कर पा रहे और विवाद का हल हिंसा में खोजते हो तो सारी शिक्षण – व्यवस्था ही  असफल है।विचारों को उचित तरीके से स्पष्ट कर पाने की कला को सीखना  ही निबन्ध-लेखन का मूल मंतव्य है।

मित्रों, निबंध कैसे लिखें  समझने के लिए यह जानना ज़रूरी है कि-

पाठ्यक्रम में निबन्ध – लेखन को क्यों समाहित किया गया :

1.  विद्यार्थी अपने विचारों को एकत्र करना सीख पाए। 2. विचारों को संतुलित तरीके से व्यक्त कर पाएं। 3. भाषा को उपयुक्त रूप से प्रयोग करना सीख पाएं। 4. किसी भी विषय पर छात्रों के स्वयं के विचार हों। 5. उनका वैचारिक स्तर निश्चित हो सके। 6. संवेदनात्मक व वैचारिक स्तर पर परिपक्व हो सके। 7. वे अपने विचारों को सकारात्मक दिशा दे पाए। 8.  अपने विचारों को दृढ़ता से रखना सीख सके। 9. आलोचनात्मक दृष्टिकोण विकसित हो सके। 10.रटन्तू तोता न बन विचारशील प्राणी बन सके।

अब प्रश्न यह उठता है कि निबन्ध किस प्रकार लिखे जाने चाहियें।

निबन्ध लिखते हुए छात्रों को इन बातों पर ध्यान देना चाहिए-

1) निबंध के विषय पर अधिक से अधिक जानकारी एकत्र करें, इसके लिए आप इन्टरनेट और पुस्कालयों की मदद ले सकते हैं। आप अपने शिक्षक से भी विषय सम्बंधित किताबों या लेखों के बारे में जानकारी ले सकते हैं। यदि आप किसी परिभाषा या वक्तव्य को प्रयोग करना चाहते हैं तो उसे लिख लें और उसका स्रोत भी नोट कर लें। विशेषकर आपकी सोच को बल देती महापुरुषों की उक्तियाँ अवश्य लिख  कर याद कर लें।

ध्यान रहे कि अध्यन करने के पीछे का उद्देश्य चीजों को रटना नहीं बल्कि अपने ज्ञान को बढ़ाना और अपनी एक सोच विकसित करना है।

2) पहले से लिखे उत्कृष्ट निबंधों का अध्यन करें। ऐसा करते हुए आपको एक अच्छे निबन्ध के प्रारूप को समझना है। यहाँ यह भी ज़रूरी नहीं कि आप उसी विषय पर निबंध पढ़ें जिसपर आपको खुद लिखना है, आप किसी भी विषय पर लिखा अच्छा निबंध पढ़कर अपना लेखन सुधार सकते हैं।

3) अपने विषय को लेकर आपने जो विचार बनाए हैं उसकी अपने मित्रों या परिवारजनों से चर्चा करें। चर्चा से निकले प्रमुख बिन्दुओं को नोट कर लें और सही हो तो उनका निबंध में प्रयोग करें।

4) निबन्ध लिखने से पहले उसकी एक रूपरेखा बना लें: आरम्भ, मध्य व अंत मे क्या-क्या लिखना है सोच लें और किसी अन्य पेज पर बुलेट पॉइंट्स में लिख लें।

5) निबंध की भाषा सरल व स्पष्ट हो।

6) लेखन शुद्ध , त्रुटि रहित हो।

7) रटा-रटाया न होकर मौलिक विषय-वस्तु हो।

8) अपने अनुभवों पर आधारित हो।

9) हर तथ्य क्रम में हो मसलन समस्या का अर्थ, कारण, दूर करने के उपाय ओर अंत मे उपसंहार-सभी बातें उचित क्रम में हों।

10) अनावश्यक विस्तार से बचें।

11) तथ्यों की पुनरावृत्ति न करें .

12) शीर्षक व उपशीर्षक को रेखांकित करें।

13) विषय से संबंधित किसी प्रसिद्ध कवि या महा-पुरुष की कोई उक्ति स्मृति में हो तो उसे अवश्य लिखें।

14) अंत मे दोबारा पढ़ कर उसमें आवश्यक सुधार करें और वर्तनी पर विशेष ध्यान दें।

इन तथ्यों को ध्यान में रखकर विद्यार्थी निबन्ध-लेखन में शत-प्रतिशत अंक ला सकता है। निबन्ध- लेखन सागर के समान गहरा अवश्य है पर उसमे उतरेंगे तो सफलता रूपी मोती अवश्य ही पाएंगे।

5. They don’t require any funding or background knowledge

Most essay competitions are free to enter, and a good essay can be written based on your own ideas and public resources. They can be completed at any time and place, and panels will often accept entries from around the world.

Most can be found online if you look around – a quick Google search usually turns up the most reputable ones. If you’re keen to develop in the STEM field, the Oxford Scientist’s Schools Competition might take your fancy (2). Was the Scholastica Law summer school program (3) right up your alley? Trinity College Cambridge has competitions in many areas, including Law (4).

These, and many other, opportunities are open to anyone, even if you don’t have prior experience.

6. Now is the best time to enter!

Essay competitions are usually based around deadlines. While this may seem scary and overwhelming, it’s the number one reason to start now. With tight time frames, you won’t be able to procrastinate.

Similarly, many are only open to certain year groups or age ranges – so it’s best to seize any opportunity when it arises. That shows proactivity, and gives you more knowledge and skills to build on later. You can apply these new skills to another competition, a job, summer course or your degree.

●  Your essay cannot exceed 2,000 words.

●  There are seven subjects or categories for essay submissions: Philosophy, Politics, Economics, History, Psychology, Theology, and Law.

Entry fee: Free to enter

●  The best overall essay winner receives an honorary John Locke Fellowship, which comes with a USD 10,000 scholarship to attend one or more summer schools or gap year courses.

●  Home-schooled students.

●  Your essay should be 1,000–1,500 words.

निबन्ध शब्द के आते ही हम सभी के आखो के सामने लम्बे लम्बे पैराग्राफ वाले शब्दों के समूह नजर आने लगते है जिसे लेकर अक्सर हमे यह शिकायत रहती है इन भारी भरकम इतने लम्बे चौड़े शब्दों वालो शब्दों के समूह “निबन्ध” को याद कैसे करे और एक बढ़िया निबन्ध कैसे लिखे

अगर आप पढाई करते है तो हो सकता है आप 6वी, 10वी या 12वी किसी भी क्लास में हो सकते है जहा हमे अध्यापक द्वारा किसी न किसी विषय पर हिन्दी या English में निबन्ध जरुर लिखने को कहा जाता है और उन्हें याद करने को भी कहा जाता है और परीक्षा में भी किसी भी विषय पर निबन्ध या English में Essay लिखने को जरुर प्रश्न पूछे जाते है और यदि हम हिन्दी या English Subject से पढाई करते है तो Exam में किसी ना किसी विषय या किसी मुद्दे या फिर किसी विशेष Topic पर हिन्दी में निबन्ध या फिर English में Essay जरुर लिखने के Question आते है.

तो ऐसे में यदि हम निबन्ध कैसे लिखे, निबन्ध में किन किन किन बातो का ध्यान रखे, निबन्ध लिखने के लिए सभी जरुरी बातो को अच्छे से जानते रहेगे तो हमे निबन्ध लिखने में कोई परेशानी नहीं होगी और फिर यदि हम खुद से निबन्ध लिख सकते है तो फिर उन्हें याद करने में कोई दिक्कत भी नही होती है तो चलिए आज हम पोस्ट के जरिये आप सभी को एक बढ़िया निबन्ध लिखने के बारे में बतायेगे जिससे आप सभी को निबन्ध लिखने और याद करने में आने वाली परेशानी से बच सकते है तो सबसे पहले जान लेते है की ये निबन्ध क्या है.

निबन्ध क्या है

निबन्ध यानि Essay हिन्दी की एक ऐसी संकल्पना है जिसके जरिये हम किसी वस्तुनिष्ठ विषय पर फोकस करते है यानि निबन्ध शब्द की संरचना इस प्रकार हुई है

नि + बन्ध = यानी अच्छी तरीके से बधा हुआ शब्दों का समूह

यानी निबन्ध वह गद्य संरचना है जो की किसी भी विषय पर क्रमबद्ध रूप से लिखी जाती है

आचार्य रामचन्द्र शुक्ल के अनुसार “यदि पद्य कवियों की कसौटी है तो निबन्ध गद्य की”

प. श्यामसुंदर दास के अनुसार “निबन्ध वह लेखन संरचना है जिसमे किसी भी विषय पर गहन और विस्तारपूर्वक विचार प्रस्तुत होते है”

तो आप समझ गये होगे की निबन्ध में किसी भी भी विषय विशेष पर उनसे जुडी बातो पर फोकस किया जाता है

तो चलिए अब एक अच्छा और बढ़िया निबन्ध कैसे लिखे निबन्ध लिखने में किन किन बातो का ध्यान देना जरुरी होता है इन सभी के बारे में अब आप सभी को बताते है

Nibandh Kaise Likhe

जैसा की आप सभी जान गये होंगे की निबन्ध में किसी भी विषय पर फोकस किया जाता है और उनसे जुडी बातो का निबन्ध में समाहित किया जाता है और निबन्ध शब्दों के सीमा से बढ़े होते है यानी आपने देखा ही होगा की अक्सर परीक्षा में निबन्ध जो लिखने के पूछे जाते है वे शब्द सीमा में होते है यानी 100, 200, 300 400, 500 या फिर 1000 शब्दों में लिखने के लिए पूछे जाते है जो की प्रश्नों के आकार पर निर्भर होते है.

तो ऐसे में एक बढ़िया और सुंदर निबन्ध लिखने के लिए हमे इन बातो पर फोकस करना चाहिए

1 :- निबन्ध के विषय पर फोकस करे

निबन्ध जब लिखने के लिए कहा जाता है तो आपसे यही अपेक्षा की जाती है उस विषय पर आप ज्यादा से ज्यादा सही और सटीक जानकारी दे सो हमे निबन्ध लिखते समय इस बात का ध्यान रखना चाहिए और निबन्ध में इधर उधर की अनावश्यक बातो को लिखने से बचना चाहिए.

2 :- भाषा पर फोकस करे

निबन्ध लिखने में भाषा की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका होती है निबन्ध की भाषा हमेसा सरल और सहज होनी चाहिए निबन्ध लिखने में ऐसे शब्दों का चुनाव करना चाहिए जो समझने में आसान हो और सभी शब्द पूर्ण वाक्य में हो यानी त्रुटिरहित नही होनी चाहिए यानी निबन्ध में जब भी कोई बाते लिखी जाये वो पूर्ण हो, आधे अधूरे जानकारी लिखने से बचना चाहिए.

3 :- निबन्ध की भूमिका

जब भी निबन्ध लिखने की शुरुआत करे तो इसकी शुरुआत भूमिका से करना चाहिए जो सधे हुए शब्दों में सटीक हो यानी निबन्ध की भूमिका ज्यादा बड़ी नही होनी चाहिए और यह शब्दों में ऐसे पिरोया जाना चाहिए जिसे पढ़ना वाला पढ़ते ही उस निबन्ध को पढने के लिए आकर्षित हो जाये.

4 :- निबन्ध विषय पर फोकस

निबन्ध लिखते समय हमे जिस विषय पर निबन्ध लिखना है उस विषय पर फोकस करना चाहिए यानि निबन्ध में हमे Point to Point बातो पर ही फोकस करना चाहिए यदि निबन्ध लिखने में हमे दिक्कत आ रही है तो सबसे पहले उसे रफ कॉपी में लिखना चाहिए और उन्हें पढ़ते हुए वाक्यों को सही और क्रमबद्ध कर लेना चाहिए जिससे की आपका लिखा हुआ निबन्ध पढने वालो को तुरंत समझ में आ जाये.

5 :- निबन्ध में शब्दों सीमा पर ध्यान देना

निबन्ध अक्सर शब्दों की निश्चित सीमा में ही लिखने को पूछा जाता है जिसको हमने ऊपर भी बताया है यानि निबन्ध अक्सर एक निश्चित शब्द सीमा में लिखने को पूछा जाता है तो हमे इस बात का जरुर ध्यान देना चाहिए.

और निबन्ध की शुरुआत भूमिका से होकर प्रस्तावना के साथ होते मुख्य बिन्दुओ अपर फोकस करते हुए उपसंहार के साथ खत्म करना करना चाहिए

Since its inception following the directive of the 9 th Meeting of the Council of Ministers in 2004, the EAC Essay Writing Competition has been a cornerstone activity fostering intellectual engagement among secondary school students across the East African Community. Directed by the Education, Culture, and Sports Committee, and supported by the EAC Secretariat and Partner States’ Ministries of Education, this competition has emerged as a platform for nurturing young minds and promoting regional integration.

The inaugural winners of the EAC Essay Writing Competition were honored during the 6 th Summit of the EAC Heads of State in November 2004, marking the beginning of a tradition where outstanding student voices are recognized at the highest level of EAC leadership. Since then, this prestigious award has become a regular agenda item at Ordinary Summits, underscoring its significance in the EAC's educational and integration endeavors.

At the heart of the EAC Essay Writing Competition lies the opportunity for secondary school students to delve into contemporary regional developments and articulate their perspectives on how these developments impact EAC regional integration. Through essays ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 words, students express their insights in English, French, or Kiswahili, showcasing linguistic diversity and cultural richness within the EAC.

The 2023 theme invites participants to explore the role of sports and games in advancing both development and integration within the East African Community. This timely topic encourages students to reflect on the potential of sports as a catalyst for social cohesion, economic empowerment, and cross-border collaboration, thus contributing to the overarching goals of the EAC.

डायरी कैसे लिखें जानने के लिए उसकी शुरुआत को जानना काफी महत्वपूर्ण है। Diary Writing in Hindi एक दैनिक कार्य है इसलिए हमेशा अपनी डायरी लिखने का एक समय निर्धारित करें। जब आप डायरी लिखने की शुरआत करें तो 10 से 15 मिनट का टाइम निकाल कर लिखना शुरू करें। आप बुलेट्स पॉइंट्स के रूप में इसे लिख सकते है जिससे आपको बोरियत महसूस नहीं होगी। कुछ ऐसे लोग भी होते हैं जिनका डायरी लिखने का कोई एक निर्धारित समय नहीं होता है लेकिन वो हमेशा अपनी डायरी साथ लेकर जाते है और समय मिलने पर लिखते है। डायरी लिखने की ये आदत आपके व्यक्तित्व में निखार लाने का एक साधन बन सकता है। जितने भी विद्वान् और सफल लोग है उन दोनों में एक बात सामान्य है कि वो नियमित डायरी लिखते है और व्यस्त होने के बाद भी आदत बनाएं रखते है शायद यही उनकी सफलता का राज़ है। तो आप अगर ये ठान चुके हैं की आप डायरी लिखने की आदत को बनाये रखना चाहते हैं तो ‘Consistency is the key’।   

अनुभव और रिसर्च अनुसार डायरी लिखने के उद्देश्य कई हो सकते हैं जिनमें से टॉप 3 को हमने नीचे पॉइंटर्स में समझाने का प्रयास किया है :-

1. हम में से कई लोग ऐसे है जिन्हें अपनी मन की बात किसी को भी बतानें में हिचक महसूस होती है। इसके कई कारण हो सकते हैं। कई बार ऐसा इसलिए होता है क्योंकि हम सोचते हैं की वे हमें जज करेंगे या उन्हें हमारी बात समझ में नहीं आएगी। लेकिन डायरी लिखने में ऐसा नहीं होता। तो जो बात हम दूसरों को समझा पाने अथवा व्यक्त कर पाने में असमर्थ होता है, उसे डायरी में लिखा जा सकता है। डायरी सही अर्थ में एक ‘सच्चे मित्र’ की तरह होती है, जिसे हम सब कुछ बता सकते हैं। इसमें प्रतिदिन की विशेष घटनाओं को लिखकर हम उन्हें यादगार बना लेते हैं। 2. जिस प्रकार हम फोटो देखकर उस अवसर की यादें ताज़ा कर लेते हैं, उसी प्रकार डायरी के माध्यम से हम अतीत में लौट सकते हैं तथा अपने खट्टे-मीठे अनुभवों को दोबारा जी सकते हैं। 3. प्रसिद्ध व महान व्यक्ति भी डायरी लिखते थे। उनकी डायरी पढ़कर हम पूरा युग देख सकते हैं। कई बार यही डायरी आगे चलकर ‘आत्मकथा’ का रूप ले लेती है। जिससे हम महान व्यक्तियों के विचारों, अनुभवों व दिनचर्या के बारे में जान पाते हैं और इसंपायर हो पाते हैं।

डायरी लिखते समय किन बातों को रखें ध्यान में और कैसे शुरुआत करने के बाद रखें जारी, जान्ने के लिए नीचे दिए गए पॉइंट्स को ध्यान से पढ़ें :-

(1) शुरू करने से पहले पृष्ठ में सबसे ऊपर तिथि, दिन तथा लिखने का समय अवश्य लिखें। (2) इसे प्रायः सोने जाने से पहले लिखें, ताकि पूरे दिन में घटित सभी विशेष घटनाओं को लिख सकें। (3) डायरी के अंत में अपने हस्ताक्षर करें, ताकि वह आपका व्यक्तिगत दस्तावेज़ बन सकें। (4) डायरी लिखते समय सरल व स्पष्ट भाषा का प्रयोग करें। (5) डायरी में दर्ज विवरण संक्षिप्त होना चाहिए। (6) अपने अनुभव को स्पष्टता से व्यक्त किया जाना चाहिए। (7) डायरी में स्थान और तिथि का ज़िक्र होना चाहिए। (8) इसमें अपना विश्लेषण, समाज आदि पर प्रभाव और निष्कर्ष दर्ज होना चाहिए।

• डायरी लिखने के वैसे तो कई लाभ है लेकिन, सबसे अच्छा फ़ायद ये हमारे व्यक्तित्व के विकास में फायदा पहुंचाती है। डायरी लिखना बहुत कारणों सेअच्छा है क्योकि इसमें आप किसी पर निर्भर नहीं रहते।  
• डायरी लिखने से आपको किसी भी चीज़ को ज्यादा समय तक याद रख पाते है।
• डायरी लेखन हमारे अंदर लिखने की कला को विकसित करता है। डायरी लिखने से हम ना सिर्फ लिखने की कला में सुधार कर सकते है बल्कि शब्दों का उपयोग बेहतर ढंग से कर पाते है।  
• डायरी लिखना रचनात्मक शैली में वृद्धि लाता है। डायरी लिखने का फायदे ये भी है कि आपके सोचने के तरीके में बदलाव आता है। आप चीज़ों को ना सिर्फ बेहतर समझ सकते है बल्कि उन्हें नए तरीके से करने का हुनर भी खुद में ला सकते हैं।  

अभी हमने देखा डायरी कैसे लिखना शुरू करें, अब चलिए जानते है How to write a diary in Hindi और लिखने का सबसे आसान तरीका क्या है  :

• डायरी में क्या लिखना है ? डायरी लेखन बहुत प्रकार का होता हैं। आप डायरी में अपने लक्ष्य के बारे में लिख सकते हैं या आप अपने दैनिक दिनचर्या के बारे में लिख सकते हैं। लोगो का कई बार ये सवाल रहता है कि डायरी में क्या-क्या लिखें तो डायरी में अपने इमोशन, विचारों के बारे में लिख सकते हैं। आपको तय करना होगा कि आप डायरी लिखना शुरू करना चाहते हैं या नहीं?
• डायरी किस विषय पर हो ? अपनी डायरी को सुंदर और बेहतर बनाने के लिए उसके  एक शीर्षक ज़रुर दें। सबसे ऊपर एक टाइटल लिखे  और बाद में जरूरी जानकारी को आप चाहें तो उसे  बुलेट प्वाइंट की फॉर्म में भी लिख सकते हैं।इसे दोबारा पढ़ते समय आप  विषय से इसके बारे में  में जान सकते हैं। टाइटल और बुलेट प्वाइंट के उपयोग से आपका काफी समय बचेगा |
• डायरी का एक समय निर्धारित करें डायरी लिखने का निर्धारित समय तय करें । एक निश्चित समय तय करने से आपको कई तरह के लाभ हो सकते हैं जैसे आप नियमित रूप से अपनी डायरी को लिख सकते हैं। आप ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा 20 मिनट का समय निकले। इसके लिए अलार्म सेट करने पर आप अपनी डायरी लिखने को किसी भी दिन भूलेंगे नहीं। एक बार निश्चित समय पर  लिखने से आपकी आदत बन जाएगी और वो कहते है ना मोटिवेशन आपकों कार्य शुरू करने में मदद करता हैं मगर आदत आपकों काम करते रहने में मदद करती हैं।
• अलग अलग रंग के पैन का इस्तेमाल करें डायरी को हमेशा अलग अलग रंग के पैन से लिखें क्योकि मानव शास्त्र के अनुसार हर रंग का एक महत्व और ऊर्जा होती है और ये पड़ने में भी उस भाव को प्रकट करता है। ब्लैक से आप अपनी कमियों या बाद एक्सपीरियंस के बारे में लिखें। जिससे आपको पता चले ये ग़लती आप दुबारा न रिपीट करें। लाल  अपने लक्ष्य और आपने जो भी सीखा उसके बारे में लिख सकते हैं। नीले से आप बाकी की चीज़ों के बारे में लिख सकते है।  
• आपके मन में जो है वो लिखें आपके मन में जो भाव उत्पन्न हो रहे हैं उनको अपनी डायरी में सहेजे और किसी और इस बारे में सलाह न लें। डायरी लिखते समय आपके शब्दों में ग़लतियाँ हो या फिर आपकी राइटिंग खराब हो लेकिन किसी से सलाह ना लें। अगर आप दूसरों की सलाह लेने लगोगे तो आप कभी भी डायरी को नहीं लिख पाएंगे।अगर आप डायरी को नियमित रूप से लिखेंगे तो धीरे-धीरे आप एक बेहतर डायरी लेखक बन सकते हैं और आपका मानसिक विकास तेज़ी से हो सकता है।   
• तारीख देकर डायरी लिखें डायरी में, आप अपने वर्तमान और अतीत में सभी जानकारी को लिखते हैं, उन दिनों को याद रखने के लिए दिन और तारीख को लिखा जाना बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। इसलिए, नियमित रूप से लिखें लेकिन तारीख हर एक डायरी लेख के साथ लिखना बहुत ज़रूरी है।
• अपनी डायरी में चित्र या फोटो लगाएं   अपनी डायरी को और भी सुंदर और आकर्षित बनाने के लिए कोई भी चित्र या फोटो लगा सकते हैं या बना सकते हैं। अब उदाहरण के लिए आप मान लीजिए कि आप कहीं घूमने गए और आपका वह दिन आपके लिए एक यादगार दिन है, ऐसे में डायरी लिखते समय आप उस जगह की फोटो को भी उस पेज पर चिपका सकते हैं। अगर आप एक अच्छे चित्रकार हैं तो उस पेज पर आप एक सुंदर सा छोटा चित्र भी बना सकते हैं जो उस डायरी पर लिखे लेख से जुड़ा कुछ दृश्य दर्शाता हो।

परीक्षा मे कम अंक लाने पर विश्लेष । डाबरी  14 जून, 2021 आज वार्षिक परीक्षा का परिणाम घोषित हुआ। इस बार भी मैं पांचवे स्थान पर ही आई। मुझे ऐसा लगता था कि इस बार प्रथम तीन में मेरा नाम आएगा । अब मेरी समझ में आ रहा है कि हर बार में प्रथम तीन में आने से क्यों रह जाती हूँ । मुझे याद  है कि मैंने चार-पाँच प्रश्नों के उत्तर कई बार काटकर लिखे हैं। ओवर राइटिंग भी हुई है। मेरी लिखावट भी साफ नहीं होती है। एक बात और है, मेरे अंदर आत्मविश्वास की कमी है |  मैं कक्षा में भी चुपचाप बैठी रहती हूँ। यदि यही स्थिति रही तो, मैं हर जगह मात खा जाऊँगी। मुझे आत्मविश्वास जगाना ही होगा। रिया

पृष्ठ में सबसे ऊपर तिथि, दिन तथा लिखने का समय अवश्य लिखें। (2) इसे प्रायः सोने जाने से पहले लिखें, ताकि पूरे दिन में घटित सभी विशेष घटनाओं को लिख सकें। (3) डायरी के अंत में अपने हस्ताक्षर करें, ताकि वह आपके व्यक्तिगत दस्तावेज बन सकें। (4) डायरी लिखते समय सरल व स्पष्ट भाषा का प्रयोग करें।

डायरी लिखना अत्यंत अच्छी बात है क्योंकि जब हम रोजाना डायरी लिखते हैं तब हम धीरे-धीरे अपने आप को मॉनिटर करते हैं । इससे हम अपनी गलतियों या अच्छाइयों को धीरे धीरे बेहतर तरीके से समझने लगते हैं । हमें पता चलता है कि हमारा कौन सा समय सबसे ज्यादा बर्बाद होता है तथा कौन सा समय सबसे ज्यादा उपयोग में आता है ।

अपनी डायरी लिखने का एक निर्धारित समय बनाएं अपनी डायरी लिखने को और बेहतर बनाने के लिए इसे नियमित रूप से लिखना बहुत ही जरूरी है इसलिए आप निर्धारित समय तय कर सकते हैं जैसे- सुबह उठने के समय, दोपहर को खाना खाने के बाद, या रात को सोने से पहले।

डायरी जब भी लिखें डेट डालकर लिखें डायरी सोने से पहले लिखे ताकि दिन के सभी कुछ लिख सके आप डायरी में जब डायरी लिखेने बैठे तब सब काम कर ले उसके बाद डायरी लिखें ताकि आप सब कुछ डायरी में लिख सके डायरी को हमेशा सही जगह पर रखें अगर आप डायरी लिखना चाहते हैं तो आप खुद से डायरी लिखें किसी और से ना लिखवाए
