​Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj University or RTMNU Nagpur is one of India’s oldest state universities in Nagpur, Maharashtra. It was founded in 1923 to impart quality education through an enriched academic culture. ​Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj University is a University Grants Commission (UGC)-approved university named after a spiritual saint, a great orator, and a musician from Vidarbha.

The huge RTMNU campus is rich in biodiversity and spiritual ecstasy. It is spread over 373 acres, consisting of 7 lush green campuses and estate buildings with extensive gardens. The  RTMNU library is a three-tier library facility, well-equipped with thousands of books, making this place a classic example of enriched reading culture.

RTMNU Nagpur  provides well-equipped classrooms. The labs are well-modified but lack some new technical equipment. Projectors are provided in each classroom to carry out e-learning in a hustle-free way. It also provides wi-fi connectivity to all the faculty members and students. The mess is provided only to the students of  RTMNU . It is well-maintained and the hygiene of the place is greatly looked after. Both veg and non-veg meals are served here. Outside food is also allowed. The  RTMNU Nagpur campus has sports complexes and gyms inside the hostel, and a separate Innovation Institutional Cell. The university also organises many engaging activities with the local communities like MSMEs, tourism departments, self-help groups, etc. The students and other members of the university celebrate many festivals together like Holi, Diwali, Lohri, Janmashtami, and more.

• Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Memorial Fellowship : It is awarded to students who are registered as research scholars in the university and is fully merit-based.

Recently,  RTMNU  organised a virtual guest lecture to celebrate World Tourism Day, 2021. It also conducted a competitive event where the registered participants have an opportunity to exhibit their creative skills in essay writing competitions.

RTMNU Nagpur celebrated Convocation Day marking the 98 th Foundation Day on July 9 at Vasantrao Deshpande Hall, allowing only 40-50 people to all Covid-19 protocols. Indian Institute of Management Nagpur is starting the Doctoral Programme from the academic year 2021-22. The objective of the programme is to seek, develop, and foster contextually relevant and socially conscious academicians and researchers seeking thought leadership in management fields.

The program duration will be four years. The initial two years will be coursework leading to a comprehensive assessment before participants undertake the thesis work for the remaining duration under the supervision of an advisory committee.

Course structure brief

• The first year: The participants will undertake (i) Post-graduate courses common to all participants, (ii) Additional post-graduate courses recommended by the area (including related area courses, if any), and (iii) Doctoral level courses common to all participants.
• The second year: The participants will undertake (i) Doctoral level courses common to all participants and (ii) Doctoral level courses specified by the areas. During the dissertation period, areas will strive to develop contemporary research aptitude among candidates by way of active interactions with reputed global scholars.

Candidates will be awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) on successful completion of the programme.

At present, IIM Nagpur is offering Ph.D. in the following areas of specialization:

Financial Support

Stipend: Participants will get the following monthly stipend during the duration of the program:

• Year 1 and 2: INR 30,000
• Year 3 and 4: INR 33,000 (to be initiated upon successful completion of comprehensive examination)

Start-up Grant: A one-time startup grant (in year 1) of INR 1,00,000 will be provided to meet expenses on purchasing hardware, software, etc.

Contingency Allowance: A contingency allowance of INR 25,000 per year (for second to fourth years) to cover research expenses, expenses on books, photocopying, etc., will also be available to all the Ph.D. students.

Conference Funding: The institute will fund the conference expenses on a reimbursement basis for attending one international and three domestic conferences prescribed by their area.

An amount of up to INR 1,50,000 and INR 20,000 per conference paper will be provided to meet all expenses related to attending international and national conferences, respectively.

MAFSU B.Tech Admission 2024

The Institute offers a full time course in B.Tech with specialization in Dairy Technology. 10+2 qualified students can apply for admission to the course.

Eligibility

• The students should have completed 10+2 with PCME (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English) as their compulsory subjects from any recognized board.
• The candidates should have appeared for the Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) conducted by State CET Cell, Mumbai.

Selection Criteria

MAFSU UG Admission 2024: B.VSc and AH, B.FSc

The institute offers full time Bachelor courses in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Sciences. The students should have completed 10+2 with PCBE (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) as their compulsory subjects from any recognized board. They should have obtained at least 50% marks (40% for reserved categories).

• The selection for B.VSc and AH is based on the marks obtained by the students in NEET UG 2022.
• For B.FSc, selection is based upon the marks scored in state entrance test and academic merit.

MAFSU M.Tech Admission 2024

In PG domain, the college offers full time M.Tech in Dairy Technology for two years. B.Tech degree holders will be eligible for admission to the course.

Nagpur veterinary College

• The educational facilities was very good.
• They provide notes to students. With weekly test.

i scored 524 marks in neet through vci quota i got this college on the basis of marks in neet through neet marks only you can get this college but counsing differ from all india qouta and stste quota you can get this college in less marks if you get in by state quota

For BVSC &AH degrees after giving 12th science exam studen8mhst appear for neet examination and should score around 500 of there is no caste benefit . The students with caste benefits might get qualified with around 200 plus marks
