Tourism supply is the provision of goods and services that constitute the tourism product. It aims to satisfy tourist demand. The complexity of this concept arises from the actual nature of the product, as it is a compound good, encompassing many resources, sectors, activities, and services carried out in a destination in the search of a memorable experience. Until recently, limited importance has been given to the analysis of the activities within the service sector except for transport.
Nature and Component
Several components join as one to make tourism a special experience (Goeldner and Ritchie 2012 ; Song 2011 ). Tourism products usually cannot be stored, and consequently, there is no supply if the trip is not made. Likewise, products mean that they result in experience-based services.
